You set the goal
Gym at six. One chapter a night. Ship the side project. You meant every one of them.

There are two kinds of pain. The pain of regret and the pain of the moment. Choose the ladder.
The problem
Every scroll is a promise broken to yourself. Not because you're weak, but because nothing is keeping score when you quit. Willpower talks don't fix that. A scoreboard does.
Gym at six. One chapter a night. Ship the side project. You meant every one of them.
The couch is warm, the feed is endless, and tomorrow always sounds like a better day to start.
No streak breaks, no score drops, no cost. So quitting becomes the habit you train the most.
How it works
Callused Mind turns every hard follow-through into a scored rep. Here's the loop you'll run every day.
01
Name the thing you keep putting off. The workout, the chapter, the application, the call you owe someone.
02
Before you start, score how much you don't want to do it. That number is the raw material the whole app runs on.
03
Complete it while the resistance is high. That is the rep. Comfort completed at zero resistance earns nothing.
04
Every hard rep adds to your Callus score. Over time you can see exactly how much harder you've become to stop.
The science
The same way a callus forms where skin meets friction, discipline forms where effort meets resistance. Stress inoculation, deliberate discomfort, and implementation intentions all point the same direction: repeated voluntary hard things make the next hard thing easier.
Controlled exposure to difficulty lowers the stress response the next time you face it.
Growth happens at the edge of ability, not in the comfortable middle.
Following through builds self-trust, and self-trust lowers the cost of starting.
